A hilly neighborhood can come with some landscape curb appeal challenges. This paver wall was installed to give a terracing element to the front landscaping. We coordinated the paver material with existing boulders on site to mix some old with the new.

Boulders were used to retain the hillside and create a terraced lower patio area. A natural stone pathway slowly curves down the hillside. Lawn was maintained and native plantings were added for year round interest.

Due to stormwater requirements of the borough, the driveway had to be a permeable surface. A paver was selected and edged with a Belgium block. The underground drainage system under the driveway allows water to slowly percolate into the soil rather than flow in to the street.
