Rain Gardens & Rain Barrels
Rain Gardens

A Rain Garden is a planting bed landscaped with native plants that store and filter stormwater runoff instead of allowing the water to run over the surface. By replacing soil on site with loose amended soil, the water quickly filtrates into the ground naturally, preventing it from entering the stormwater system. Depending on the size of the rain garden, a perforated PVC pipe may be used as an underground drain for slowly draining soils to prevent flooding. Benefits of rain gardens include erosion control, reduction in community flooding, and an ecologically and aesthetically pleasing landscape.

Rain Barrels

Rain Barrels capture and store rainwater that runs off your roof. Harvesting rainwater, which has been done for centuries, can be stored for later use, released slowly over time to infiltrate properly, or used immediately for watering lawns and landscaped areas. Improvements in rain barrel design eliminate the threat of basement flooding and also keep collected water from becoming breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Benefits include reducing your household water consumption, watering plants without chlorine-treated water, and most importantly, saving money on water bills. Rainwater collection is a win-win for the homeowner and the environment.

Words from our clients

We had exterior exposed aggregate concrete and retaining walls removed and replaced with colored and stamped concrete. We also had our flower beds replanted and had a trellis and rain barrel erected. We were very leased with Christine's enthusiasm and passion for her work. Her concrete subcontractors are top-notch! We hope to hire her again when we redo our front driveway in a few years. - Allison park, PA

Carolyn and William

As a homeowner for over 30 years I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of home improvement professionals, too many to even remember. However, because of the professionalism and knowledge of the business, specifically landscape architecture and the design, I will hire Eco-land Design for all my future projects. Christine and her crew provided us with excellent ideas. She was able to understand my ideas and complete the work as I envisioned the project. Christine is extremely professional and the project was done at a fair price.

by Landscape 4

We had a new patio & fire pitt installed and some landscaping done by Eco-Land design. We were very please with the results. Christine of  Eco-Land Design is talented, knowledgeable and hard working. I would highly recommend her.

We Use a Simple 3 Step Process

Step 2 - Budgets & Design Proposal

The proposal will detail the scope of the projec and different materials options. We recommend that for larger scale projects, we provide and estimate that is itemized for budget and installation purposes.

Step 3 - Installation

Once the proposal is reviewed and finalized to your approval, we will coordinate and manage the successful installation of your project.

We recommend that for large scale projects, we provide an estimate that is broken down into phases for budget and installation purposes
